Our Montessori school in Bel Air offers daycare and preschool programs.

Children’s Manor Montessori School in Bel Air is conveniently located on the corner of Wheel Road and Old Emmorton Road, behind the Festival of Bel Air, and just minutes from Route 924, Route 24, and I-95. CMMS-Bel Air features infant & toddler, & preschool programs, six spacious classrooms a large playground, and morning and afternoon snacks! Our curriculum and enrichment programs are guided by the Montessori Method allowing your child to explore, learn, and develop themselves fully. We are proud to have the most diverse program offerings in Bel Air. In addition to daily classroom instruction, students receive enrichment in STEM, Spanish, Music, and Yoga, and Library. Our Montessori School in Bel Air focuses on the development of the whole child.  Therefore, we offer Montessori-based daycare and preschool programs that balance the social/emotional, cognitive, physical and academic development of children. Ms. Tangeria Tilghman

Administrator

Ms. Tilly Tilghman joins CMMS with eight years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Human Services from Towson University, and also holds a Child Care Administration certification. Additionally, she is teacher-certified for both Preschool and Infant/Toddler age students. Ms. Tilly was initially drawn into the education field due to her interest in the way students grow and develop over time. More specifically, she found herself drawn to Montessori education because of the ability to foster developmental growth and produce independent learners. Tilly’s favorite Maria Montessori quote is, “We adults must see the real humanity in children, the humanity which will take our place one day, if we are to have social progress. Social progress means that the next generation is better than the one before.”
